Stéphanie Ledu was born in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), into a positive and caring family. Her parents, avid readers who love traveling and meeting new people, took their children (Cathia, Stéphanie, Richard and Racker, their dachshund) on lots of exciting adventures. Museums, reading, long hikes in nature, movies… Her childhood was full of learning and joy. After a few years in publishing and bookselling, Stéphanie began to work for “Wapiti”, a Milan magazine about animals. Another thing she is passionate about! She loves non-fiction, which led her to writing books about a variety of topics. Her mission is to share her knowledge with children and make them love reading. She has written more than 200 books, 100 of which are published in the “Mes p’tits docs” collection. Stéphanie currently lives in Vichy, along with her three little cats and two big ponies.
