Sandra Laboucarie is a journalist and author. She loves observing the world around her and looking for stories to tell children and teenagers. After ten years working for “Mon Quotidien”, she now regularly contributes to several children’s magazines and newspapers (1jour1actu.com, “Julie”, “Okapi”, “Géo Ado”, “DONg !”, “Curionautes”, etc.) and explores parenting issues in specialized or general interest magazines. She has written twenty or so non-fiction books about gender equality, the environment, media literacy or citizenship, several of which have been translated into English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and German, among others. She also creates interactive books. She regularly speaks in schools and in 2016 and 2018, spent several weeks in Asia at French-speaking schools in Shanghai and Singapore. She lives in a village near Toulouse.
