Mélissa Conté Grimard developed an interest in cooking very early on. Her first creation, a cherry clafoutis, in which she accidentally inverted the proportions of salt and sugar, remains in people’s memories; but she has made up for that since. She is editor-in-chief of Julie magazine, in which the monthly feature “Pipelettes” first appeared.
