Marie-Agnès Gaudrat lives between Paris and Normandy. After working for many years as editor-in-chief of “Pomme d’Api” magazine, and head of Bayard’s baby and toddler magazines, she decided to become an author. She splits her time between publishing, and film and television. She has written fifty or so picture books for children published by Bayard (“Le petit ogre” and “Adelidelo” in particular), as well as Arènes, Milan or Casterman. Most of her books have been translated abroad. She also enjoys working alongside other talented authors and heads up the “Les feuilletons de la mythologie” series by Murielle Szac, “La naissance du monde” by Bertrand Fichou, and “Les Formidables” by Eve Pourcel. She is also a writing director or screenwriter for several cartoon series on Canal +, France Télévisions or TF1 (“Polo”, “Tom-Tom et Nana”, “Anatole Latuile”, “Mouse Mansion”, “Gus le chevalier minus”).
