Gilbert Houbre, born in 1957, is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He illustrates non-fiction. He is a drawing teacher at the Ecole Émile-Cohl in Lyon, as well as a painter and engraver.
